COPE Compliance Statement

The Frontiers in Business and Finance (FBF) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, transparency, fairness, and accountability in scholarly publishing. The journal follows the principles and best-practice guidance of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) throughout its editorial and publication processes.

FBF applies recognized ethical standards to manuscript handling, authorship and contributorship, peer review, conflicts of interest, plagiarism and research misconduct, editorial decision-making, corrections, and retractions. All manuscripts are handled through a fair, confidential, impartial, and professionally managed editorial process.

Authors, reviewers, editors, and editorial board members are expected to uphold responsible research and publication practices. Authors must ensure that submitted manuscripts are original, properly referenced, and free from plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication, or data falsification. Any suspected case of plagiarism, duplicate publication, authorship dispute, peer-review misconduct, unethical research practices, or undisclosed conflict of interest is addressed in accordance with appropriate COPE guidance and the journal’s established ethical policies.

The editorial team ensures that all manuscripts are evaluated objectively based on academic quality, originality, significance, and relevance. Editors and reviewers maintain confidentiality and avoid any conflicts of interest during the review and decision-making process.

FBF is dedicated to protecting the integrity of the scholarly record and follows COPE recommendations for handling ethical concerns, complaints, appeals, corrections, expressions of concern, and retractions whenever required.

The Frontiers in Business and Finance (FBF) continuously reviews and updates its publication ethics policies to remain aligned with internationally recognized standards and evolving recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
