Fee

To support the costs of open-access publishing, including peer review, editorial management, online hosting, and long-term archiving, Frontiers in Environmental Science and Sustainability charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) of 40,000 PKR per accepted manuscript.

There are no submission charges. Authors are only required to pay the APC once their article has been accepted for publication.

The APC covers:

• Rigorous peer-review and editorial evaluation

• Professional copyediting and typesetting

• DOI assignment and indexing in databases

• Open-access hosting for global readership

Waivers and discounts may be considered for students, early-career researchers, and authors from under-resourced institutions upon request.
